Lisa Shanahan, LCSW
began working with children and families in 1991. She taught in a variety of early intervention programs, including Head Start, for nearly a decade while earning a Bachelor's Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in Child Development and Early Education. Lisa earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from Portland State University in 2002 and spent several years as an Outpatient Therapist at The Child Center, a non-profit mental health center serving children, teens and their families. In 2006, she earned her Oregon State License in Clinical Social Work and began building her private practice.
Lisa currently runs a full-time private counseling and consultation practice in Downtown Eugene, Oregon specializing in child, family and individual therapy. She also provides professional training and consultation for educators and mental health professionals.
